Bracket Design and manufacture

The less obvious components to the SmartBar are the steel brackets that join the bar to the vehicle chassis. 

The design and manufacture of SmartBar brackets is calculated on minimising weight and maximising the seamless integration of the SmartBar with the vehicle. Each SmartBar becomes an integral part of the vehicle not only in function but in form (profile and style). In this regard function must satisfy two separate criteria:

• The enhanced protection and safety features that the SmartBar brings to the vehicle
• The absence of any detrimental effects to the vehicle function from fitment of the SmartBar

          (Not all VFPS's can claim this)

The design and manufacture of SmartBar brackets is a sophisticated process involving 3D imaging, metal manufacture, laser cutting, press bending, galvanizing and powder coat enamelling.
